RIP Beastie Boys video director Ric Menello
director Ric Menello makes a cameo in “Fight For Your Right (to Party)”, a video he directed for the Beastie Boys.
We were sad to hear of the passing of Ric Menello, music video director who helmed the Beastie Boys simultaneously awesome and awful “Fight For Your Right To Party” music video, along with the threesome’s “No Sleep Til Brooklyn” and LL Cool J’s “Going Back To Cali”. Menello also wrote the script for Run DMC’s feature film “Tougher Than Leather”. He will be missed.
